When using Bettybooth as a visitor or renter, personal data is submitted. With "personal data" we mean any kind of information that can directly or indirectly identify a physical person.

Betty Booth is responsible for the data that is provided via and processed by bettybooth.se together with the booking system.

Below is a description of the guidelines that Betty Booth applies for personal data processing and more. Additional guidelines may apply in specific cases. The guidelines do not also restrict the rights that exist according to law or other legally binding provision, also known as GDPR.

The general provisions for personal data processing applies to the entire Betty Booth.

The general provisions mean that Betty Booth always processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, with respect for personal integrity, all personal data processing is based on a legal ground.

When using the Betty Booths website, only information that is used for statistical purposes is collected and the visitor remains anonymous. Such information includes the time of the visit, how long the visit lasted, and which pages were visited.

Betty Booth only collects personal data for certain specific purposes. The general purpose is usually to provide a service that the concerned person has requested. Betty Booth does not process personal data for purposes that are incompatible with the original purpose.

We expect our suppliers to operate in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and we reserve the right to terminate our relationship with any supplier that fails to meet our expectations.

GDPR

General about GDPR
From May 25th 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. GDPR replaces the current Personal Data Act (PUL) and applies to all EU countries.

Description of GDPR
GDPR has been created to protect you as a Customer and your rights regarding the handling and dissemination of your personal data. The idea is that you as our Customer should feel secure that your registered information is not used in an improper way. The current Swedish PUL is actually the foundation of GDPR and most of the PUL is found in GDPR.

What is personal data?
Personal data is information that in any way identifies you as a person. That is, name, address, phone, email etc. Non-personal information about bookings, sales and activities is not included as this is considered as trade secrets and in many cases is covered by accounting regulations and reporting requirements.

Who is responsible for personal data?
Betty Booth AB (VAT number: SE559230275501) is responsible for personal data. The company is responsible and determines the purposes for the handling, collection and use of the personal data that you provide to us.

How do we store your personal data?
During a rental inquiry, your personal data is stored in our booking system. The same applies if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter with inspiration, news, tips and offers.

What happens in case of a personal data incident?
If Betty Booth AB experiences a data breach or an accidental loss of personal data, the data controller will document the incident and report it to the Data Inspection and affected customers within 72 hours.

What is a data extract?
If you have made a rental inquiry or subscribed to our newsletters, you have the right to see the information that is stored about you.

Can you delete me from your systems?
As a Customer of Betty Booth AB, you have the right to have all of your personal data that is stored about you deleted.

How it works:
You have the right, starting on May 25, 2018, to have all information that can be used to personally identify you removed. This applies to such information that can be used to identify you as a person. Non-personal information about bookings, sales, and activities is not included as this is considered business secrets and in many cases is subject to accounting regulations and reporting obligations.

MARKETING PURPOSES
The images may be digitally sent to the customer who made the booking and may be used by the customer or us for marketing purposes. As a user of our machine, you can of course email us to have the images deleted or to inform us that we are not allowed to use your images.
